I remember my very first days in SL. I found this magical place that played Jazz 24/7 in a beautiful ballroom. I wasn’t allowed in, however, because I didn’t have on a ballgown. I waited until I could muster up the lindens needed to buy a pretty ballgown and for about six months I lived on the ballroom floor dancing the days and nights away. These days I have no real need to wear ballgowns, but I simply cannot resist a beautiful full dress. One day I’m gonna pack my bags and head to Europe. How wonderful would that be? Surrounded by such old world beauty and wearing high fashion clothes is the high life for me. Then I realize that my Italian is non-existent and my French is horrid. Good thing I can run off to Italy anytime in SL.
Christiane is the newest face to the ever growing CandyDoll skin line. If there were an award for most improved skin line inSL, CandyDoll will no doubt win it. Although I have been a big fan of designer’s rebeca Dembo’s skin line from the beginning, her latest work shows her evolution as a skin maker.

I’ve been mulling over this outfit for days now. Sometimes I put together an outfit for blogging but I feel like it isn’t up to par. After flipping through hair and shoes, this look finally came through. I learned two things: 1. I really need to buy updated shoes and 2. I realize that my “blog voice” or just my “typing voice” can come out to be really mean. So, anyone out there want to take me shopping for non-invisiprim shoes? I promise that I’m not the barracuda that I sound like at times.
My video card went nuclear last week, so I’m behind in my blogging. Not that I actually blog anything right on release, mind you. I hate that I didn’t get this one out in time though. This dress is so sexy, as is everything that you can expect from Hucci. Its one of the latest release, make sure you go check it out.
Week #10 and I’m still going. I know that I have been only doing the color challenges of late but I promise all of my two fans that I’ll be motivated enough to do a proper blog one day. Until then, enjoy the colors!
In an effort to keep Shangri La Style moving and to get me in some sort of schedule, I decided to participate in Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color blogger challenge. Grey is one of my favorite colors, so this week’s challenge was easy for me. The hard part was trying to take a picture with shadows without crashing.
