When Luna announced the color of coral I didn’t find anything coral in my inventory so I was left browsing the tons and tons of items on market. I pleasantly came across this skirt which I purchased. I hadn’t realized how long it was and when I put it on I knew the Coral pumps from Hucci that I had weren’t going to work so I went to find a shirt instead. I ended up coming across this cute top from The Sea Hole but with the shape of the neckline and style of shirt with the skirt it wasn’t working… paired with this white crop jacket though, it’s perfect. Then was the dilemma of shoes… at this point I’d already purchased the skirt and top so I was hoping to find boots in my inventory and I tried on a few pairs before it clicked. “I KNOW WHAT BOOTS!” I blurted out to my mom and co-blogger.
As many of you know, Luna Jubilee, started a 52 week of color challenge last year and each week bloggers were given a new color. I think I got about 8 of the weeks and kept meaning to catch up and eventually decided there was no way I could pull it off. Needless to say I was a happy girl when I saw that she was giving slackers like me another year to redeem themselves so without further holdup lets get this rolling.
Week One: Champagne
Dress: Celoe – Group Gift
Hair: Elikatira – Collabor88
Skin: Dutch Touch
PS. I know this was probably my laziest blog post to date but I took this photo weeks ago and just now got to editing it up. (Conveniently just in time for the new cycle of color challenges.) Also, fair warning… my next post is going to be pretty lazy as well because that photo is from the same day I took this one so same situation. ❤
I’m way behind on the 52 Weeks of Color challenge, among other things. This week, I’m sorta back though, I burned myself out with both RL and SL commitments and had to step away and make things enjoyable again. So without any other delays, here are my versions of ecru and umber:
Wow, week #17! I never though that my ADHD would keep me going in this challenge, but here I am! I thought that Electric Lime was gonna be a hard color to pull off, but I was saved this week by newness from /erratic/ and gorgeous makeup from Elegant Epiffany.
I’ve been gone for awhile from blogging, big apologies for that! My graphics card was having issues so I was waiting anxiously to be able to get parts to build a new PC. All that aside I’m just going to join in the color challenge for this week. I really love how the LISP store has redone their sim and have seen myself soaking up some sun on that beach for some time now and I finally got to do that yesterday. I used pose 123 (I think) from Glitterati. I do love their new bedroom sets but I didn’t end up getting anything more than this great photo on my trip to the shop. The teal top I have on is one of my summer go to tops from a few years ago. Judge me. It’s from Artilleri and I totally love it. I paired it with my favorite shorts made by Kianna Noel and these sculpted flip flop feet things from J’s Real Toes. I’ve been wearing this hair for awhile and I’m not sure what color it is but it is from Truth and the skin is from Laq.
(Apologies for this not being my typical style of blogging with the credits and such below the post.)
Teal is another one of my do not touch colors. I have plenty of turquoise, but very few pieces of teal. A trip to one of my fave stores remedied the problem fast and help me put together a casual nod to spring look.
My video card went nuclear last week, so I’m behind in my blogging. Not that I actually blog anything right on release, mind you. I hate that I didn’t get this one out in time though. This dress is so sexy, as is everything that you can expect from Hucci. Its one of the latest release, make sure you go check it out.
I’m really enjoying these color challenges. Although I’m gonna be broke from buying something every single week, I love the fact that I can push my styling boundaries every week. Anyway, I decided to do a dominatrix-ish type look mix with a new jacket from Sn@tch.
