Back to Business

Shangri-La-3-18-2014

I have missed blogging and I hope you’ve missed me too because as long as this urge lasts you’re stuck with me.  Photography has almost always been a part of my SL and lately I have seen some really great pieces and I so desperately want to learn the techniques to make better images.  Any tips or tutorial links in the comments are much appreciated.

Most of what I am wearing is from the current March 2014 “Back to Business” round of Collabor 88.  Credits are available after the cut.

Bah Humbug to Monday.. but yay for more MESH

I’m going to ramble a bit and then get to the point.  I tried going to sleep at a reasonable time last night and after laying in bed for 4 hours I gave up.  Came on SL and surprise, I guess today was Christmas for me because I got these totally awesome new MESH MESH MESH dresses from JANE.

Please ignore the quality of this photo, that’s actually what the title of the post is about.  Anything that could go wrong trying to take this photo did.  I’m having the worse issues with my graphics and I don’t even know what to do anymore.  OpenGL issue with a GTX 460 card. Anyone else having this problem or had that can help me troubleshoot that would be awesome.

Anyway, to the point… How totally cute are those boots?  While I was digging through my inventory to find the right shoes I got the Lelutka notice for these new boots so I went over and grabbed them and my look was complete.

Stytling details after the cut.

UNICEF Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund 4 – 19 September 2010

The following post is as seen on http://www.juicybomb.com

I’m re-posting this info about UNICEF Project for anyone that may be interested in helping. This is short notice but please consider taking part in this event as it is helping people in immediate need.

UNICEF Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund 4 – 19 September 2010

http://www.unicef.org/infobycountry/pakistan_55713.html

Dear lovely SL merchant! ❤

I know this is very short notice but this may be something we can do on a regular and ongoing basis. UNICEF are currently raising funds for the Pakistan Flood Crisis. Millions of people have been affected and thousands are without homes.

If you’d like to be part of this fund raising effort you could donate all or part of the proceeds of an item/s (I’d like to request at least 50% of your item/s – can be exclusive, existing, discounted whatever you like!) The point is to raise as much money as we can in the 2 week period.

I will be donating 100% of the proceeds of one hairstyle and doubling the amount raised off my item to go towards this cause. I’ll advertise the fund through my update group and list all the merchants involved. I have ordered a sim “Project Donate” from which you will vend your items (in addition to your own locations). You are free to landmark to your own stores from this location which will be entirely removed from my own sim.

I’ve created an account “Unicef Rainfall” which will collect the proceeds. Once you confirm you’d like to participate I’ll send out all necessary split scripts etc. You will also need a group space available to place your item/s.

Thank you for considering and hope to have you on board!

If you’d like to move forward just send Unicef Rainfall a notecard with your name, store, landmark…sorry this is all a bit informal at the moment 😛

Modern Business – LOTD 8/1/10

Oh Hai!  We’ve been pretty lax around here lately.  Between RL commitments and being stuck in computer purgatory, we haven’t had the chance to actually blog.  So let’s get down to it, shall we fashionable ones?  For today’s look, it’s all about being the CEO of true diva-ness!  I have a passion for anything high-waisted. My inventory is filled to the brim with high-waisted skirts and pants so I decided to make a fashion forward look that can be worn to the office. Maybe if you work at Cage, Fish and Associates.
